The Unified Virginia Chiropractic Association is proud to team up with Virginia Food Banks and Feeding America for National ChiroCares Giving Back Week May 19-25, 2020. Through this initiative, the UVCA, ChiroCongress and fellow Chiropractic State Associations across the nation, along with their members, are organizing and participating in different events that give back to their local communities during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
The Federation of Virginia Food Banks is the Commonwealth’s largest charitable response to hunger, representing Virginia’s seven Feeding America food banks and 1,500 partner agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens and shelters. In SFY 2019, the Federation and its member foodbanks were able to acquire and distribute 120 million pounds of food and grocery items.
The Federation of Virginia Food Banks supports facilities located in Richmond, Fredericksburg, Newport News, Norfolk, Tasley, Verona, Lynchburg, Winchester, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Abingdon, and Covington in Virginia. To learn more, visit VA Food Banks .
