Tips to protect your family from COVID-19

This is a stressful time for all of us.  At our house, my family and I are coping with the present situation by staying informed and following the directives of those in the CDC, and other government agencies that are fighting to keep us safe.

First of all, remember how the CDC has identified COVID-19 spreads. There are many news stories of unique circumstances for the spread of the virus, however, the scientific community agrees that COVID-19 is spread mainly from person-to-person.

Encourage your family to stay healthy by following everyday preventive steps.

Everyday preventive steps:

            DO NOT COVER THE FACE OF ANY CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 2. 

Symptoms:

Watch for one of these 3 main symptoms, You should stay home and speak to your healthcare provider if you  experience any of them.  

If these symptoms develop into the following emergency warning signs for COVD-19 get medical attention immediately.

This list is NOT all-inclusive. Consult with your medical provider for any other symptoms that are severe or concerning.

It looks like within the next month or so things will start to open back up. We look forward to seeing you. Remember though, this is not the time to let your guard down. Unfortunately, until a Vaccine is created this virus will be around.  Continue to protect yourself and your family...we will all get through this together!
